Trig functions

1. Review Demonstration Lesson on introduction to angle measures. Examine it for design features that are important for particular ways of thinking about trigonetric functions.
2. Explore the java applets at http://www.ies.co.jp/math/java/trig/index.html.
   1. Pick one applet to describe in detail. Describe what this applet affords you in regard to having students think about trig functions.
   2. Describe how you might you use this demonstration in a lesson on graphing trig functions? Be specific about the questions you would ask, what you would talk about, and what you would have students do. What would you hope your students learn?
3. Extra credit: Compare the above with Six Trigonometric Functions. It is not in English, but it should be easy to figure out what it is showing you

   NOTE: Six Trigonometric Functions exchanges the definitions of secant(x) and cosecant(x). The definitions are reversed in text, but the demonstration itself operates correctly.
